I found this pattern on the web, fell in love…, bought wool and here it is!
Love it, love it, love it…… It’s nice and actually quiet cuddly:) I got load of compliments:)
It took me about 3 days to make it, but it was fun. Made my pattern for lining and handle I crochet with Tunisian style. Now I’m busy knitting another one with a different wool, curios to see it when its done…. We’ll see;) acsessories
We been invited to Holly’s Birthday party to a Hoekwil farm last Sunday. Yay! I always love to go there, what a treat:)
It was great to see my friends, boys had a great time, and lovely cup of tea with some kids snacks and cake (I have been really naughty:)). Lately I’m trying to make my own gifts, much more personal. So I made crochet slippers for Holly, and it seems she realy liked them! YAY!
My boys and I love to go to our library in Mossel Bay, and me love to look at craft books for kids:) I spoted great book about rock painting for kid, there was loads of cute and simple ideas. We took it home and this is how I started my first rock painting. First I decide to make rock houses for my boys sand pit. They were fun to make and Sasha and Max really loved them. Then couple of my friends saw them and they suggested I can use them as a door stopper! Good idea!!!
So my rock houses became my next project and I planed to sell them at my friend Clair’s food and craft market in Hoekwil (November 2009).
It was a great success! I sold 80% of my rocks, rest was given as a gifts for Xmas:)And I even got some orders after market, Yippee;-)
